Howdy guys,

I just started my PC after a while & it turns on, lights turn on, only at that place is no display on the monitor.

I did some enquiry on Google near this issue & did a few things.

1). I removed all the hardware, except the processor & power supply. It turned on, only same issue.
two). I also tried removing the RAM, & and then past switching the RAM slot, simply still no employ.
3). I removed my HD 3450 512MB graphics card & plugged the monitor into the Built-In Monitor port & vice versa (in the graphics card), but no employ.
4). I removed the hard disk & DVD ROM & changed their power cords, merely no utilise.
5). I removed the computer cord & pressed & held the "ON" button for 30 to 60 seconds, merely no use.

It was working fine a couple of weeks ago, simply and then I turned it on & it was not working anymore. By the manner, when I turned it on, it acted a piffling weird before going dark. Actually, when I turned information technology on, it took a long time to get to display & and so Windows was also working weirdly, then I restarted a couple of times & I thought it was my hard disk (which sometimes have power string consequence that works fine if nosotros modify information technology), simply its not that.

Any thought how to ready this effect or what is wrong with my computer?

Cheers.

If trying the on-board display (connecting the monitor to the motherboard back panel) even so not having any display could exist a serious trouble.

Try clearing CMOS and attempt the on-board VGA again (the dedicated, not installed).

If information technology's still not displaying, it could be that the motherboard or monitor died.

First unplug/disconnect all power source for all device (monitor, speaker, cpu, etc....)

In the mobo there a silver coin like battery (CMOS bombardment), remove it for 5 min.. (make sure no device is connected to power source/electricity)

Then re-install it afterward 5 minutes...

information technology will articulate CMOS and reset the bios setting to it'due south default country (factory setting)....

Oh well, I did this. I pulled the small-scale bombardment out for 10-15 minutes. Then pushed the ON button a couple of times. Put the battery dorsum in & turned it on, merely notwithstanding no display. :(

I call back the mobo is dead, but I'thou cannot said it for sure.....

Something interesting happened today. I took it to a local motherboard repair centre, they plugged in & pushed the button, it really gave the Display, BUT just the Display of the MSI Welcome Screen & stuck their. Information technology didn't proceeded. The tech guy bank check it with my Graphics Carte and so with Onboard vga, same thing happened both times and display showed upwardly & stuck at the MSI welcome screen. No Keyboard input worked or no Setup or BIOS entry.

I told the guy to check the board & he highlighted its overheating.

Whatsoever thoughts on this i? What could exist the Problem then?

Looks like the mobo is faulty...

information technology hard to pin betoken the problems information technology could be i component in the board fail, information technology could be the rut sink is loosened, etc...

If changing the mobo prepare the result and so I think that the best solution...
it will quite hard to fix failed mobo....

Yes, I think I should replace the mobo. Fifty-fifty if information technology works, I've doubts it will support the Upgraded processor I'm planning to get for it.

Thanks.

When I had this I just got washed putting a new processor in. When I took it off the pins were bent on the processor. When I put them back to normal and put information technology back in it worked fine. The pins are very delegate.

My reckoner had a very similar problem and it turned out to be a faulty PSU. Information technology sometimes would boot upwardly for 15 min, and then it would freeze. Later a restart there was no way to get a display again.

Hope this helps.

To clear CMOS remove a hardware that looks similar a Lithium prison cell battery. And so put information technology dorsum once again.
